Important Note: The above items cannot be added to a work-order, receipt and lead-time once the work-order receipt and lead-time have been written and presented to the customer. Such an addition will require a separate work-order, receipt and a new lead-time, based on the current lead time calendar, which is updated immediately after every work-order receipt is drawn. Any of the items below can be added to an existing work-order receipt, without affecting the lead-time, as long as the addition is not made too close (about 2 months) to the quoted deliver date.

I now use a product called "S-Ivory" as a default mount material. It is uncannily close to natural Ivory in appearance. It is, also, much more durable than the old "Cast Polyester". Bear that in mind when considering mount materials.

Contrasting wooden mounts are available in a range of species according to availability. At any given time, I have a variety such as Hornbeam, Castilla Box, Maple, Plum and Persimmon. If you have a species you would prefer, there may be a surcharge for special ordering the wood.

Sambar Stag has become increasingly difficult to acquire in large, straight pieces with little or no pith. Most antler offerings are now Moose or Caribou. Moose and Caribou antler are also more sustainable.
